Clear Correct is a competitive brand of removable clear plastic braces. This style of braces has become increasingly popular with adults that are looking for modest, cosmetic realignment. The clear plastic aligners are durable and they are hard for the casual observer to notice.

At the initial consultation your dentist will take X-rays and take an impression of your bite pattern. These are sent to the Clear Correct lab where a series of custom aligner trays are produced to match your bite pattern and alignment goals.

Every two weeks you will switch new set plastic aligners that are slightly different than the previous one. In most cases the total treatment time lasts around six to eight weeks.

You will need to wear the aligners for at least 20 to 22 hours each day. You can drink normally but the aligners should be removed while eating. Do not smoke or use tobacco products while the aligners are in your mouth.

Be sure to maintain your typical oral hygiene regimen of brushing and flossing through the duration of the realignment process. You should rinse the braces each day with an antiseptic mouthwash. If you need to freshen the braces you can brush them with a soft bristled toothbrush and nonabrasive toothpaste.
